The Good Letter #32

Michael Joyce

After viewing the photos of the LS in open conditions I would like to share a few photos of where I reliably obtained positions on a recent survey.
This was a 3 acre subdivision survey from an original 28 acre parcel laid out in the 1800’s.
I needed to tie into original corners, stake and stones in the woods.
To traverse would have taken days.
I was able to obtain positions on corners in the conditions shown in the photos on a northerly facing slope.
2 weeks later I had determined I needed additional corners so I went back into the woods again with the Triumph LS.
I tied back into the previously surveyed corners within 0.1 both horizontally and vertically.
The final corners were staked with the LS under canopy with very good results.
I continue to be very impressed and confident in Javad.
