The Good Letter #22

Tim Phipps

Just completed a small job I have been running the Triumph-2 and LS RTK system on. I have been running my old static GPS system and mapping remote areas under canopy in a deep hollow. I was amazed that I was able to measure with sub centimeter precision all of the points including those that I could not get a good static positioning on with my older equipment. The maximum wait on the deep hollow under canopy shots was a little under five minutes to get a good fix and record. The ability to change between multiple coordinate systems has been a big asset in matching known points and moving between different systems. I am anxious to move onto the next job and begin some oil well work.
Thanks for your continued excellent support.
